BMLGA PLAYDAY- JUNE 23RD.

We had a ABCD Step Aside Scramble with two drives required per person, followed by a luncheon at the Beech Mtn Clubhouse. Karen Levine, Vice-President did an excellent job taking over for our President, who was out of town. If you're a BMC member with a beginning handicap index of 37.1, give us a call and join us. It's a great way to meet some other Beech Mtn Club members and have fun playing golf.

GARDEN AND HERB SOCIETY MEETING-JUNE 22ND

Carol Klein showed us how to make mosiac garden deco. We decorated stepping stones and flower pots with broken china glass, stones, etc. Rory Ellington spoke with us about our plans for a butterfly garden. The thing I especially like about this group, is that I get to meet many other BMC members on the mountain, and it is fun to work together. As usual, there were delicious refreshments. HERE ARE THE SADIE HAWKINS PLAYERS

SADIE HAWKINS DAY - JUNE 18TH

Sadie Hawkins Day is a real fun tournament at the Beech Mtn. Club. Believe me, no one is allowed to dress like this on our golf course on any other day, so the members enjoy looking special for this day. Linda Croff and Marlene Reetz were in charge, and planned everything perfectly, except for the weather. The tournament had to be cancelled half way through, but we had a delicious dinner at the clubhouse, and prizes were awarded by a drawing.
