LOW IMPACT HIKERS ON BOONE FORK LOOP

We were warned on the printed information about this summers hikes. "It's not the easiest hike, you will climb some ladders and make a lot of elevation gain and loss, but it's well worth the effort. 4.9 mile loop trail. Moderately strenuous". Beth Vandette, Asst. Recreation Director, and Rachael, were excellent in assisting some of us over the rocks, through the slippery small creeks, down the ladder, and up and down the banks along the streams. This hike is not for old folks. We had a good time and ate lunch beside a beautiful river. Who can ask for more?

BMLGA MEMBER GUEST DAY

The weather was perfect for this years Member-Guest. Rosetta Bagans and her committee planned a perfect Italian theme, including a beautiful fountain in the clubhouse. There were many prize winners, with the top ones being the team that won First Low Gross: Phillis Englander, Nora Lee Rafe, Sondra Rice, and Grace Corbelt and 1st Low Net: Becky Welsh, MaryClair, Jean Courtney, and Eloise Carroll. Sondra Rice also won closest to the pin on two holes! Many thanks to John Carrin, our Golf Professional, and Rory Ellington, our Golf Course Superintendent.

Lady Niners Crystal Cup

TENNIS PRO CHALLENGE BETWEEN BMC AND HOUND EARS

These are more pictures from our crack photographer, Walter Gassner, and we certainly do appreciate him recording the action for us. As a golfer, I just never knew what those Tennis Players were up to, and it seems like they have a lot of fun. Unfortunately, he reports, that Hound Ears beat us 2-0, but a strong match was enjoyed by the hundreds of onlookers.
