Beech Mountain Marathon Bridge Group is run by Sandy McDonald. There are 14 couples involved, divided into two groups. Each couple invites 3 other couples, as assigned, to play individually
at their home, and are invited to the homes of three other couples from their group. Chicago scoring is used, and scores are transmitted by email or phone to Sandy. Refreshments served are very simple, just soft drinks and snacks. There are two parties a year at the Alpen Haus, where each couple brings a dish, and bridge is played. Prizes are awarded at the end for the number of points earned during the summer. Thank you for all your hard work, Sandy, and we also want to thank Peter for carrying lots of things to the second floor of the Alpen Haus for our parties.
