Every day now you can see so many changes in the pro shop, cart barn and surrounding area, as shown in these pictures:
The carpet, paint and new counter has really made a difference in appearance. Soon it will look like a first class pro shop.
Next week all of these boxes will be unloaded and up on shelves and racks.
Now there is a room to try on those new duds before you buy!
More work space for the staff where the club storage used to be.
The member's mailboxes are now in a room that has enough room for additional uses. It will also house the sign-up sheets for association play.
John and staff are currently bringing all of the new electric carts into the new cart barn. It's a cinch to now plug the carts in for recharging as each station has its own charger hanging from the ceiling.
The new club storage room is shaping up.
Even the weather is holding out to allow the trees and shrubs to begin flowering out again. The Fairway Cafe will open on Thursday, May 1st, right along with the golf course and the clubhouse dining room.
The 60 new Club Car electric carts are lined up to be placed in the cart barn.
New carts! New tee boxes! New cart barn! Oh, my!!
The cart barn is quite a presence and really adds to the club feel with the pro shop, Fairway Cafe and putting green all within a stone's throw. And...for those who have heard a rumor that only nine holes will initially be open for play next week...WRONG! All eighteen holes will be ready for play on May 1st. Get your game on - it's golfing time!
