This is a very interesting hike. Meadows, woods, burial place of Moses Cone, hills, long range views, a tower to climb, and a distance of over 5 miles, plus a wonderful ending to look at all the goodies at the Moses Cone Center. It is rated easy to moderate. Give it a try sometime. Oh, and I forgot the beautiful horses that use the same trail. If you want to be included on the next hike, give Rec a call at 387-4208. Get a pair of hiking shoes, pack your lunch, water, walking stick, and meet the BMC bus at the Alpen Hause just before 9:00A.M. on Wednesday. You can't beat this much enjoyment for $8.00.
