Both the Low Impact and High Impact groups went on this trip. It was a beautiful day. Beth Vandette, Asst. Recreation Director, drove us, in the BMC bus, to the river. She demonstrated paddling instructions, and then we were off. The good news is that the river flows north, the way we were headed. The bad news is that there are many rocks, just below the surface, so you constantly have to be alert and decide which side of the river to choose. There are many beautiful houses above the river, and we saw several flocks of geese. After we finished, we gathered for our lunch, and headed for Beech. Keep this trip in mind for your summer guests.
