The golfing began with a shotgun start at 9:00 A.M. There was a full field of over 100 golfers . Everyone received a "Dance Card" with their instructions for the tournament. All Lady golfers received a "Golf Ball" marker.
The front nine was called "Cha Cha Cha". 1 best ball was used on the Par 3's, 2 Best Balls on the Par 4's and 3 Best Balls on the Par 5's. The back nine was called "Two to Tango" and 2 Best Balls were used on each hole. There were also special holes for proximity events such as "Snuggle up to the Pin SAMBA" and "WALTZ Away with the Prize " for closest to the line. On one hole each player"dancer" got to "Dance with the Pro" John Carrin. Anyone whose drive was closer than his received a prize.The evening festivities began at 6:00 P.M.
People were given masks as they entered the "ballroom" . Denny Slawn and his orchestra played "Masquerade" as everyone had their first glass of champagne.
The music and dinner were fantastic. Prizes were awarded to the tournament winners towards the end of the evening and to top it all off there were two dance contests!!

Chairwomen Karen Levine and Marlene Reetz thanked John Carrin and his staff; Lyndsey ,Roger and the rest of the Clubhouse staff ;and all of the organizations (BMLGA,BMMGA,Lady Nine Holers,and The Club Board) whose financial assistance helped to make the event possible.
The dancing went on well past Beech Mountain midnight
