SATURDAY CHURCH SERVICES ARE BACK ON BEECH-6-16

Rev. Daniel Brubaker, of the Banner Elk United Methodist Church is again holding an evening service at 5:00 (instead of 6 last year) on Saturday nights at the Beech Mtn Picnic Shelter, located between the Beech Mountain Recreation Center and Buckeye Lake.  For more information, you can call Dan on his cell: (828) 260-4792 or the church at (828) 898-9729.

 If Saturday night does not work for your schedule, The Banner Elk United Methodist Church is located around the corner from the Banner Elk Post Office at 486 College Dr.  They have a Blue Jeans" Contemporary  Service at 9:40 A.M. and a Traditional Service at 11:00 and two Sunday School Classes. The 1st Sunday of the month is Holy Communion. On the 4th Sunday, there is a Covered Dish Lunch immediately following the traditional worship service. Fellowship refreshments are served before every other service.
 In the summer, "Wonderful Wednesdays" are held, where you can have fellowship and meal starting at 5:30 PM.

Come try out the Beech Mtn service. Just wear casual clothes and worship with some nice people on the mountain, and enjoy one of Rev. Dan's excellent sermons.
