FALL IS APPROACHING

Well since our star reporter, Nancy Raymond, left for Florida, hopefully for just a short while, I realized that the leaves are beginning to fall. The trees are only slightly changing their colors but what was dramatic as I looked out on the golf course was the absence of golfers. Usually. on a Sunday afternoon the course is full with couples playing but the course was nearly empty. I could not hear the gas golf carts churning along and it was just very quite.

It seems as if it was only yesterday that spring was breaking, leaves were unfurling and flower gardens were being planted and how wonderful it was to see old friends showing up. It was exciting.

Now they are beginning to pack and close up houses and going home. Yes, I will forget a lot of your names by next spring and I wonder if I'll remember the ones we will be returning home to in our other life.
