I was taking a walk on Clubhouse Rd today, and I saw this wonderful solution created by Richard Rice. Sondra, his wife, told me that they were having Raccoons getting into their trash cans. First, they tried little cinder blocks to hold the lids down, then full sized ones, then started talking about putting a cover over the cans. Richard decided he could build one. Sondra said that even the Trash Men like it!
I told Sondra, that Richard could get into business, with this idea.

Actually, these receptacle lids have been around for a few years. My husband put ours on a couple of years ago and now our son-in-law installs them for anyone wanting one put on.
