A short walk in the woods, very close to the exit from the BMC Swimming Pool parking lot, would be a wonderful experience. Cross over the bridge on Greenbriar, and park near Honeysuckle Lane. The Upper Pond Creek Trail is marked with a hiking sign. It's very easy and flat. Hiking shoes are not necessary, but wear walking shoes and take a walking stick. It's about 1 mile long.
