This was our first meeting of the year. We had delicious goodies, and many previous and new members. There is an active program for this year. Our next meeting, on Monday, June 23, will be a trip to Water Heaven center, across from Sugar Mountain. We will meet at the Alpen Haus at 10:00 and car pool there, and then have lunch together afterwards.
Members are working on new plantings for the RAR center, and a Butterfly way station garden near Lake Coffey. We will also work on the gardens near the Genesis treatment center near Buckeye Lake.
Suzzane Powell, President, opened the meeting. Ilene Libb gave a demonstration on growing lettuce, and Barbara Moore on growing tomatoes.
