We had a beautiful cool day, and this was a wonderful hike. A little up hill..no big rocks to climb over, and an incredible view, on the cliffs, where we had our lunch. I will warn you to call Recreation for the location of this hike. (387-4208)
Next week, is my favorite hike. We will start at Carver's Gap and hike on the Grassy Ridge Bald Trail to Jane Bald, on Roan Mountain.. The Rhodo's should be in bloom. Call right away, while there are seats on the bus.
