Kim Barley sent me this information from his ship, which is currently heading back to London.
"The teacher, Jane Conner-Ziser, works with Canon as an expert printer person. She travels for Canon and gives talks on how to best print professionally. She is also an advisor with Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter. She teaches both to professionals and amateurs of varying depth. She is an international recognized speaker and teacher, as well as being an accomplished artist. She will show us how she does it and wet our appetite to want to learn how to greatly improve our photo taking and "developing" abilities. She will also invite everyone to learn about Corel Painter. This software allows artists to do their work with a computer and a stylus board. This board translates drawings and brushing using a stylus and hundreds of applets, like brushes, paints and many self made templates to create real art, whether painting a photo or water coloring art of palettes of heavy paint to pencil; drawing and allowing us to print this art on any kind of paper, canvass, shirts, or how to paint for a purse. She may show us how to upload our art to a professional printer company, and have the finished work professionally printed on the desired media and returned in just a few days. She is truly an inspiring teacher!
Once an artist sees Corel Painter in action, they cannot resist the desire to try it!!
The Workshop will be held on August 14 and 15, 9am-5pm. $25 per day.
ALL RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE BY AUGUST 10TH!
WELCOME TO THE HIGHEST CLUB EAST OF THE ROCKIES!
