GARDEN & HERB SOCIETY TEA

We had a lovely time at our G&HS Tea, held at Carol Richardt's home. Suzanne Powell and Ann Martin who led our group this year have done an outstanding job. Ann Martin was the one responsible for all the interesting and informative articles about gardening in the BMC News and Notes. Marge Bailey attended and stated that all are welcome to go to the Recreation Center on Sept 8th and learn about trees before the Crossnore Luncheon. Money donated at Marge's event will be collected for the Butterfly Garden in the new Trailhead Park, at the corner of Chestnut and Lake. We look forward to next summer. It's a wonderful group to meet new friends. We look forward to seeing you.
