Our little hiking group decided to take trails from the very top of the Beech Mtn Parkway to the Buckeye Lake Recreation Center. Information is on the web on the town site. Here are a few of the water falls we spotted, and we had lunch in a beautiful rocky place. You might check with the BMC Recreation Dept on their plans for hiking next year. All you need are hiking shoes, walking stick, and some sort of back pack to put lunch and water in.
